What I did may seem a round-about way of doing things, but it worked. Go to Live365 and pretend your going to listen using their player. After everything starts copy the address at the top of your browser. It should start with "http://", highlight it and copy it using Control C.

Open iTunes and Choose Advanced > Open Stream.

Enter the full URL of the file you want to listen to.

(Enter the address by pasting it with Control V in the space for the address)

iTunes will save it for next time

I'd like to mention that we are not directly support by iTunes, but there are ways around it as Steven as so kindly responded.

If we keep growing our website, selling new Founder's account, Live365 accounts, Tshirts and other items we will eventually be able to afford one of the professional packages offered by live365.

These cost about $5,000 a year and include listings at Itunes, Windows, and satellite radio to mention a few features. Pretty much unlimited listener slots. Maybe someday smile.gif

I actually remember, a long time ago, when iTunes had Highlander Radio listed as one of its stations. I think they were using Live365 as their tuning service at the time.

Go to live365 and log into your live365 account.

Scan the menu and look for "listener settings"

You should see a default MP3 player - select iTunes - but make sure that iTunes is your default MP3 player for your system. Consult the iTunes preferences.

One of the most common question we receive is why can't I hear Highlander Radio through Winamp any more. The answer is you can! Instead of using Player365, select "default mp3 player" from the initial setup or from the personalize link above. If you have WinAmp or iTunes installed as your default MP3 player, then when you launch our broadcast you will first see the Live365 player window and then Winamp or iTunes will launch and tune into Highlander Radio.

I was just wondering, if I've registered on the board, am I automatically registered for a Live365 free membership, and therefore able to tune in to Highlander Radio?

Unfortunately, no. You will have to setup a separate account with Live365.
