I ain't goin' anywhere near the malls that day. I usually do my Christmas shopping on a weekday during the day, and I do it all at once (and yes, I give gift cards).

When I was working in retail, I had to deal with all of the crazy people that shopped the day after Thanksgiving...Sometimes, it wasn't so bad...but that one vicious customer always got in my line.......Oh well...even though I will still be working a part-time job in retail this year, it will be ok......I just hope that I don't get the person that wants thier things double bagged!!!!!!!!
Just laughing....It is fun to watch the people.....sometimes!!!!!

I, too, have to work. And yes I am in retail.
Fortunately (or unfortunately?) I am not in or near a mall and my shop is so specialized that we don't even have a sale that day. I know it will be busy though.
sad.gif Maybe I won't have THAT customer this year. I wouldn't wish that one on anybody.
Good luck if you are braving the crowds. No sale price is worth it to me!

The last few years I have went, we didn't see a whole lot of hostile people...just a lot of people. I remember standing in line to check out for like 45 minutes

Depends on what's for sale, but no early morning "cattle calls" for me. Did that a couple of times at Wal-mart and decided there was nothing I needed that badly!

We go shopping the day after Thanksgiving, more for a Ladies Day Out than for the shopping. It's just fun. We don't do the early morning madhouse stuff either.

I am only going if there is something I really want which was so far once or twice in 10 years. LOL

We usually try to avoid this day and stay at home. Most times my husband has to work anyways and so I am staying at home and relax a bit.

We mostly did our christmas shopping before or do some few things after that day.
