Maybe she i having a hard time hearing on the cell phone so she talks loud cause she can't hear?

Nah she has better hearing than average, for a couple of years she wore 36 db earplugs to sleep (kept them in all night) because she heard everything I told her it was bad for her but hey I was only trained as an audiologist.

QUOTE (tsargent62 @ Apr 29 2004, 10:32 AM)
It's a little known fact that hikers in England regularly find coconuts lying in the forest. Scientist have theorized that mutated Europen swallows may have carried them back from Africa during the spring migrations.

THe question is...what exactly is the air speed velocity of a swallow?

(Ladies, please forgive me on this one, but I've just got to get it off of my chest or I'll just burst! wink.gif I don't mean to imply that it is ONLY women who do this, but most of the time - at least in my experince anyway - its women...)

What is it with women with carts in Wal-Mart and grocery stores? They act like it is a matter of life or death that they get around you, and once they do they come to a complete, dead stop! And when you try to go around them, they act like its YOU who is being rude!

And when you are approaching an intersection of aisles, you absolutely MUST slow down or these same ladies will plow you down as they fail to take into account that someone else may coming out of an aisle in front of them!

Reminds me of the Little Old Lady From Pasedena! smile.gif

Okay, I'm done with my rant now! Let the reprisals begin! (Wiz covers his head as he waits for the inevitable barage of coconuts to fly in his direction!)

I really don't like it when people stand really close to me when I'm trying to talk to them, especially when they're taller than me (which, being 5'3 is most of the time). It just feels really awkward. I also get irratated with people who chew gum with their mothes open so you can both hear, see, and smell what ever vile thing they are chewing, people I don't know very well calling me "hon", "sweety", or "sugar" (maybe this one is just the feminist in me talking), and people who don't poop-and-scoop after their dogs, especially on your lawn! I'm sure there are more, but I don't want to sound too anal... tongue.gif
