When a player dies can he/she come back or not? How does that all work?
If they are in the instructions somewhere and I missed it so sorry.

Nothing is mentioned about if it's possible to be totally eliminated- however this "type" of game usually makes it very difficult to completely remove another player from the game. For example, many times you can only steal 10% of an enemy's resources per successful attack- making it nigh impossible to completely eliminate them.
On the other hand, if a person is getting that beat up, it may be in their best interest to abdicate and start a new kingdom.
Being able to resign is covered (somewhere...) smile.gif

I'm not saying anyone should resign, just saying it's possible...
From what I can see of scores, I don't think there's anyone who's even close to the point where it's recommended.

We can add a reset option. No problem. We will add it to our list! smile.gif

Let us know if someone gets beaten up pretty bad and it does not seem fair or maybe too much gold taken away. We can make some adjustments to the forumals.

I think attack gold should be worth more, i would also like to wait a little longer before a reset is done.

This game plays similar to one i used to play and that one reset about every 3 months, which was fine since you know each time was for so long. But with gold going towards auctions when you figure out the conversion ration you want to use, I would recommend that.

1. You schedule resets so the game runs a set amount of time, say every 3-4 months or longer.
2. When a reset is done you could make the person's last gold amount or even their score the amount of gold the can use in auctions.
3. If people know how much time they have they can better plan strategy's.

Just please let everyone know when a reset is going to be. I've seen many great games die almost completely from to many unscheduled resets.

There is actually an option in the game to delete yourself from the game.

Right now though we have to hook up the password change and delete change to work with your Celtic Radio account. We've done this with our family tree maker for founder members.

So if you change your password in game it is going to mess up your account for now.

We are also thinking on automatically deleting inactive members to free up those spots so more active people can take their place. Maybe 60 days without use before your account is deleted?

I think deleting after 60 days sounds great... i have 6 no active members in my kingdom, and we cant do the gov thing or anything since they are not playing..

I personally don't want the game to reset after so many months, that would really be a waste of hard work to get where we are...

i'm gonna have to agree with Tami, I'd rather not have to build everything right back up after I finally got everything goin on to lose it again in another couple of months.

Is there not a way to email certain people or something or send out a mandatory reply or something to see who is actually playing and who is not and the ones who do not reply then delete them or something? thumbs_up.gif

So is this discussion where the idea of adding the reset first came from? It's interesting to see how many of the original players of MK have resigned since it started.

MK seems to be in limbo right now. Once we resume development and enact some of these ideas, things will pick up.

I am still supportive of the currency and gold being able to purchase real life items on the site; possible music downloads, CDs, books, enhanced accounts, premium accounts and more.

That was the big interest at first, but unfortunately, we could not keep up with the development. There are just a few projects left before we start devoting time for MK.

I'm curious if another reset is to come once some of these new ideas are off the ground and running. Another digit place in the input fields would be a wonderful thing as well cool.gif

Heck, I'll take three or four more digits.

I totally agree, making clan donations and such wear me fingers to the bone! sad.gif
