Have a couple for those of you who may be in AZ or in nearby states.

First one is in a couple weeks on the weekend of January 11-13 at Pioneer Village, north of Phoenix. I hear this is quite the place to see. For all you civil war enthusiasts, there will be a re-enactment in a couple weeks. Here is the link:

Another one will be at Picacho Peak, AZ, March 7-8. I will get a link to that soon as I can for further info. I plan to take photos at both, but if any of you attend, please let me know!

Keep you posted!

hey all! I went to the Pioneer Village event today where there was a CW reenactment of the Battle of Fredricksburg. Really cool in so many ways. It took me an hour and a half to get there but it was worth it. Working on the many photos now to show you all. I should have them ready in the next day or two.

The thing that makes Pioneer Village so special is that three men took very historic buildings and moved them to this one site to perserve them with the intention of teaching the public "living history" and the truth of the days of 1863-1912 when Arizona became the 48th state.

Photos to come soon! wink.gif
