From the very start we have always prided ourselves on playing a mix of Celtic music that celebrates the diversity, uniqueness, yet common ground that is the essence of all Celtic inspired music.

Let's face it, there are not too many Celtic broadcasts where you are going to hear Bagpipe Rap (Off Kilter), French Brittany Celtic music (yes in French) and such a wide range of Celtic music from Sea Faring Songs to the Royal Blackwatch Bagpipe Band to the traditional ballads of Andy Stewart.

Your looking for new Celtic music, then you have come to the right place. 44 new albums have been added in the last 60 days and it keeps growing!

So it is that time again for a bunch of new music to keep your Celtic music flavors fresh and exciting. This time round it seems the Highlander Radio Studios have been hijacked by Pirates! Well, atleast musical Pirates as we received the Double Cross (by Tempest) and Tell No Tales (by The American Wake) all in the same day!

Here is the breakdown of the new music tracks added tonight:
  • The Sandcarvers - Dealin' Craic
  • Tempest - The Double Cross
  • The American Wake - Tell No Tales
  • Cherish the Ladies - Woman of the House
  • Danu - When all is Said and Done
  • Niamh Parsons - Blackbirds & Thrushes (selected tracks)
  • Niamh Parsons - Heart's Desire
  • Niamh Parsons - In My Prime (selected tracks)
More information about these albums including buy links, artist links and request links can be found on our new music page here:

Good news, I don't come on the forum much but I'm always listening to the broadcast.
I love Niamh Parsons, I've spoke to her several times, a lovely lady.
