Getting Rid Of Old Software

I have Windows XP. I have downloaded some programs that I thought I would like, only to find I either did not or they made my computer act lame! One of those is Incredimail. I have gone through the remove programs in my pc and deleted what I did not want any longer to find they are STILL on there! Is there any way I can permanently delete these unwanted programs and how? Many thanks!

Incredimail seems to be one of those applications that refuses to be uninstalled without a fight. If you do a Google seach for "Incredimail uninstall" or "Incredimail problems," you should be able to find some useful information on how to deal with it.
The same is true for other apps that refuse to uninstall.
