Hi Haynes,

This reply might be a little late for their July performance...but if you didn't make it to that one, the Tinkers are well worth the drive if they're around again. I've been a fan for some time and I've seen them three times this Summer up in Washington (Bellingham, Enumclaw & Kelso). They never cease to entertain! They have more energy than a mexican jumping bean and their music gets the crowd swirling and dancing with every set.

I have yet to see a more entertaining group play at a Highland Games (and I hit a great deal of them with our Shinty group).

Enjoy!

Does anyone perchance know where I can find any of the albums from the band "Highlander"? Two albums I know of are "Journey" and "Pipe Dreamers".

When I click on the Artist link next to their music from CelticRadio.net, I get a very, very long list of links from Google that all deal with the TV show/movies and highlander music in general. If I try the Buy CD link, I get a listing from Amazon.com which does not have their albums either.

Apparently they only exist on Highlander Radio!

Any help would be appreciated! Thanks. note.gif

I've just purchased Ceann - Almost Irish, and both Amadan CDs (I even traveled 5 hours this last weekend to go see them play at the Portland Highland Games...and if it weren't for CR, I'd have never likely heard of them at all!).

There's a number more on my Favorites list that I'll be picking up in the coming months, including Runrig, Highlander, Steven McDonald, Twinflame and my new fav: St. James' Gate.

I'm truly thankful to Celtic Radio for introducing me to such a wonderful resource of music - one that I feel I have just tapped into!

Just right-click the image and go to "Save Picture As..." and save it to your harddrive!
