I was wondering what everyone does to celebrate the full moon each month. I've been terrible in the last few years and hardly do anything anymore. Hoping to get inspiration again. I used to hike to a special spot in a nearby canyon. I would cast a circle, call on the elementals and basically give a prayer/meditation of thanks. Then I would pour a little wine into the ground as an offering. I went through a very difficult time that year, but certainly have seen many rewards and good luck since I "invested" an entire year of full moon esbat rituals. Coincidence? Also, was wondering if anyone experiences energy shifts during full moons. I can hardly sleep a wink the night of a full moon...I never realize its the full moon affecting me until after the fact. |

McKenna, I don't do anything in particular but I aways seem to know a couple days before the full moon blooms. Some catch it's pull before and some after...just a matter of wiring I guess. I'm not much of a night person though....my friend ShadowDarkFyre however is definately a night child....I'm sure he'll be depositing some comments soon. |

the Lady Senara knows me well... As for me, I've always followed instinct when it comes to Sister Luna... Whenever the chance gives itself, I roam when she's full... I ahvenae' done that in a long, long time... This summer, I intend to... Time to get back in touch with the night that I love so much... A lot more magick than during the day, depending on your POV... sorry for rambling... |

What moon? You mean there's a moon? I guess if I did anything special I'd go fishing and drink (you guessed it!) BEER! |
