Ahhhh, loved summer camp! Had forgotten that part!

Wish summer would last longer - going way too fast! Please don't make me go back to school - the students scare me!!!!!!!!!!!

JaneyMae!!!!! hug.gif Where have you been??? Hangin' out at your cabin? I don't blame you -- I'd head out there as quickly as I could run, too, after school let out! It's great to see you!

We have family visiting, so I'm afraid I can't stay long tonight. Hope all of you are well. See you soon!

Summercamp - never been there. I guess I missed something. the only thing we ever had was class trips and there they had kinda co-ed living. Boy and girls just on the same hall but in sperate rooms. tongue.gif

But it was always fun.

Summervacation starts in a week. Next Monday this time around i will be in Disneyworld again. And today I might get a new car (again - it's getting boring. Husband always want's something different.) So if the money works out that way we will see. Otherwise I keep my "old" car. i dont' see what's old on a 2006 Suzuki with less then 5000 miles on it. LOL

Husband! wink.gif

Monarchs Own, you are pretty lucky! I wish my hubby would want to buy me a new car. He just got a pick up for himself so I have to wait another year or more to get one sad.gif . No fair.

I too have peeked over there, and our room is much prettier.

Getting ready to take my Girl Scouts to camp for the weekend. I hope it doesn't rain too much. Naturally we have a drought until I get ready to go camping...then it decides to rain.

Hello all! Hope all is doing well. My hubby did surprise me with a new car about 3-1/2 weeks ago. I had been wanting a brand new 2006 Honda Pilot SUV. Well I had an 18thc re-enactment to do up in northern Arizona and when I drove home I found a brand new car for me in my driveway! I was soooooooo jazzed. You have to understand that it has been 12 years since I have had a new car.

Monarch! How are you doing? What is hubby up to now that he is home?

Janeymae! Where the heck have you been? It is terrific to hear from you!

Hello to Stormeil, Maggie, ballydun, dreamer, marti and anybody else I have missed.

we are having a bad storm right now. cool.gif

Wow what a wonderful hubby you have!! biggrin.gif

Thanks so much, zeryx! You have to understand that I think it is his newest toy as well. when he bought me the new vehicle it had only 8 miles on it and the plastic still on it. However, he can't leave it alone and wants to drive it everywhere so consequently I now have over 600 miles on it! I was so mad at him...but he was like "well what do you want to do with your new car..just look at it? I said yes! LOL. He then said "Well maybe we should park it in the living room!" laugh.gif laugh.gif Silly man!

Rose, you let that poor man drive that new car! Men get weak-kneed at that "New Car Smell" and have been known to drool themselves senseless over new 'wheels'.

Nancy! I only get a new car every 10-12 years, so hope that helps you feel better. We just can't afford it otherwise. I really hate having a car payment again..argh. t hat is the only downfall.

I got this from a friend and really love to share it with all you wonderful fellow ladies here on CR....

THE HORMONAL HOSTAGE

The Hormone Hostage knows that there are days in the month when all a man has to do is open his mouth and he takes his life in his own hands! This is a handy guide that should be as common as a driver's license in the wallet of every husband, boyfriend, or significant other!

DANGEROUS: Where's my dinner!!??
SAFER: Can I help you with dinner?
SAFEST: Where would you like to go for dinner?
ULTRA SAFE: Here, have some chocolate!

DANGEROUS: Are you wearing THAT??
SAFER: Wow, you sure look good in brown!
SAFEST: Wow, look at you!!!
ULTRA SAFE: Here, have some chocolate!

DANGEROUS: What are you so worked up about?
SAFER: Could we be overrreacting?
SAFEST: Here'S my paycheck!
ULTRA SAFE: Here, have some chocolate!

DANGEROUS: Should you be eating that?
SAFER: You know, there are a lot of apples left.
SAFEST: Can I get you a glass of wine with that?
ULTRA SAFE: Here, have some chocolate!

DANGEROUS: What did you DO all day??!!
SAFER: I hope you didn't over-do today!
SAFEST: I've always loved you in that robe.
ULTRA SAFE: Here, have some chocolate!
