Aye!!! I love them on the movie Titanic! I did a search on the web just a week ago to see which band played in the movie Titanic. I found out ir was Gaelic Storm. I then got the idea of taking my boyfriend to some Celtic festival this year, since he and I both love the movie Titanic. I decided to check out the site of the Potomac Celtic Festival. Lo and behold, I found out that the night concert at the Potomac Celtic Festival stars Gaelic Storm. My boyfriend and I are going to have such an awesome time!

Aye! I know, I have not been here for months. I have been busy on the other board, that I am a member of. I did see Gaelic Storm in Concert on June 11th. Unfortunately we didn't get to see the Titanic song! They played their last song, and we just left to beat the crowds. Oh Well! I did get a T-shirt!

I was out at some of the GS fan sites last week. Sounds like Santa won't be getting me the DVD this year...release has been pushed back to January. I haven't found any definite date yet.
at the november concert in kenosha wisconsin they said the dvd would be released in december. so now it aint....
hmmmm...they also said they do more concerts in wisconsin than anyother state... now i am wondering if they reliable OR..... if they say that in what ever state they play in.
however they did kick butt.... it was a great concert. bought "how are we getting home" got the whole group to sign it..... funny... i saw that CD so many times at the music store and didnt buy it because i didnt like the cover art... green monkeys? sheesh... and come to find out now that it is probably my favorite ...
Glad to hear you had a blast. I've done a little digging. amazon.com/dvdempire.com/superduperclub.com is listing a 1/10/06 release date, however you can pre-order it I guess.

I don't recall them saying that about Virginia Although I think they're afraid of Lexington, KY now. *nudge* Said they managed to get turned around wrong comming through there on the way to Radford. In one of the parts of town with which I am most familiar
this is the latest snippet posted on the GS website.
VAN NUYS, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 30, 2005--NuTech Digital, Inc. (OTCBB:NTDL), a worldwide leader in the production and distribution of original and licensed DVD content, today announced the completion of their Hi-Definition production with Irish band Gaelic Storm and Lost Again Records. The exclusive production resulted in Gaelic Storm's premiere concert DVD, which will be released on the 24th of January, just in time for the important 2006 St. Patrick's Day promotions. The concert was produced in Hi-Definition, utilizing state-of-the-art audio and video technology, which best captured the band's energetic Celtic melodies and unique Irish style. The production taping took place on September 14, 2005, at the House of Blues in Chicago before a packed house of raving fans.
*GEEKS OUT* I've been waiting soooooooooo long! Border's better have a copy on Tuesday!
My copy of the DVD arrived!!! I watched it this past weekend and it was just awesome. GS really had the House of Blues hopping. There must have been a camera mounted up in the balcony because everytime they went to that shot the camera was just jumping the whole time!
The recording is awesome though, even though it's recorded in Hi-Def and I don't have it yet, it still looks awesome. The sound is good and clear and Patrick was his usual silly self.
Hope you all get a chance to enjoy the mayhem soon!
LOVE Gaelic Storm! I have all their CDs and the DVD. The concerts are terrific fun, and one my whole family enjoys going to. We saw them in concert a few months ago and it was great! Full of laughs and awesome, ripping music! They didn't do "Swimming in the Sea," (aww!), one of our favorites, but we were delighted to see they performed it on the DVD. They are warm and very friendly to their fans... Patrick kissed my daughter's cheek, and the whole band signed my son's Guinness sweatshirt. If you get a chance to see them in concert, GO! Be prepared to "raise a glass...!" And dancing in the aisles is encouraged and expected.
p.s. I think my daughter has a crush on Peter!
