He borrowed his uncles big truck, and it had it's side view mirror sideswiped by a hit and run driver while parked on Commonwealth in Fullerton.
I was blissfully driving home, when I looked over at the flashing cop car at the side of the road. Saw a face I recognized, and made a quick u-turn.
Quite an experience to see your son standing at the side of the road with a bunch of his friends obviously explaining some thing to an officer of the law.
she had just been telling him that the accident was nothing, that he could fix it really fast and easy, and nobody would know. Nothing to worry about.
Then he saw his mom drive past, and turn back.
