I just discovered the "quotes," which rock. This one caught my eye, naturally:
QUOTE | Eagles flae alane, but sheep herd the gither. |
OK, so is that saying eagles are dumb for flying alone and sheep smart for staying together, or is this an expression of admiration for the eagle's independent spirit? Or is it just a practical observation with no inherent analogous meaning? As in, "Well, you know eagles fly alone, but sheep flock together . . ." Am I just thinking too hard about this?
