| Listening to a little Distant Oaks today made me sad at the recent loss to this world of Deborah White, the voice of Distant Oaks. While every life is special and unique, hers was one that contributed enormously to celtic music and Christian ministry through music. I hope we at Celtic Radio never forget her, please continue your prayers for husband Chris and sons and fellow musicians Jared and Shayne, while they look forward to a reunion in God's Kingdom, their loss here on earth must be great. |

| On gosh! I am so very behind in everything. Tassie! Deb is no longer on this earth? I feel so horrible to hear this very tragic news. She was always such a kind voice to me and others and she will be missed terribly. I am sorry I am just now learning this. |

| Yes Rosie, sorry to say she lost her battle with cancer, you can download a beautiful slide show of her memorial here http://www.distantoaks.com/DebsMemorial.mov.zip She fell asleep on August 4th. Sorry you found out this way. She loved the Lord so we will see her again, it's just hard for those still here, especially her lovely family. |
