I never understood why people have so much trouble with Vista. Although I haven't dealt with it on a laptop, I enjoy it quite a lot. I just build a new gaming system in October and had Vista Home Premium 64bit on here since. Aside from a few quirks (that XP has in equivalent as well) it's enjoyable.
The 2 main reasons I decided to go with Vista were DirectX 10 and a new look from the years and years of looking at the same interface as XP. Mind you they are similar because well it's Windows and Windows will always have the same functions. Maybe I've just got lucky but I don't have too many major issues with Vista...no more than I did with XP that is.

Could a part of your frustration be that you're just so used to XP that it's aggravating to have a whole new navigation system? I was at first but once you get used to it there's no problem. turning off the User Access Control was the first thing I did when I booted up the system and quite understandably that wasn't the wisest move to incorporate that...at least for the more experienced users.

But have no worries, Windows 7 is on the way. All your troubles will be gone when you upgrade to that! smile.gif

Just stopping in to say hello! Only 19 years old...does that make me a baby rather than whipper snapper? haha.
Just to chime in on Obama...I'm starting to feel the same way about Obama as I do Harper. Pre-election I was for him and shook his hand 3 days before he was elected but then once he got in it was a huge disappointment.
What Obama is doing with the auto industry is treason. My family has been provided a life because of Ford Motor Co. for over 30 years.

I was able to travel amongst thousands of Canadian students to Vimy Ridge for the re-dedication of the memorial in 2007 by the Queen with my High School History department and it is impossible to describe the sense of pride and patriotism that overwhelms you in that situation. I've always been interested in the First and Second World Wars and to experience something as powerful as being there for that historic event is just incredible. It was the first time I'd ever felt that kind of pride, and to know you're amongst thousands of Canadians there for the same purpose was just so humbling.

I consider it an honor to be able to stand there on the same ground as the soldiers once did. I also consider it to be an honor to just drive along the roads and streets of France...the exact places that were a muddy and blood filled battlefield.

I was watching this on the news earlier...21 years old, 2 weeks into her first tour of duty. Heartbreaking. We're throwing troops at a lost cause here and it's sickening.

Prayers are with her family and friends.

Ah yes, Lisa is all around amazing. Beautiful in every way possible. She puts so much emotion into the music, rather than just singing it "right off paper" and it makes for such a wonderful performance that is very touching.

Hello everyone, Brian here from Ontario Canada.
I've been a musician for a number of years and in the past few have been drawn to Celtic and Folk music...the real music of the world. Unlike most people in my generation, I appreciate the beauty and wondrous qualities of music and Celtic is some of the most beautiful music on the planet. (Especially Celtic Woman...so talented.)
Although my knowledge of the genre is limited for the time being, I enjoy all the calming soothing and all around fun music played on the Celtic radio stations.

Thanks for providing this wonderful music! smile.gif
