Perhaps this is an oportunity to start a true RPG. Has there been any talk about getting that dice roll option programed?
I'd be game.

bleh! as I said, I find FFPG fairer for Forums, simply because I don't like throwing dice when no one see's it...
We can work out rules on our own though and give points for wise decisions or following up actions (White Scenario Rules). And this time we'll crack down on Godmoding
mmh I'll put a dictionary together one of these days:
White Scenario's are scenarios in which XP (experience points) can be gathered by the actions of characters but nothing bad can really happen to you
FFPG (Free Form Playing Game - without strict rules, a text based game)
Godmoding: making your chara a superhero without flaws and playing others in your post without their consent (eg: X went up to Y and said through his gritted teeth "I'm going to give you what you deserve" Y: "Hah! Try it!" X drives a sword through Y's heart and laughs. Y dies.) Since you are only playing your own chara you can't know what someone else is saying/doing, and you can't let him/her dying, be hurt etc without her/his consent.
Well, if you want to start one, I'll jump in. You've done this before, and so are the athority. The time periods all sound good to me, whichever you choose. I'll probably be useing the same character again in here.
I assume you'll have to explain some of the main gameplay rules and objectives.
the thing is, most rpg's are set in a fantasy (usually medieval-like) background or SF... I have yet to see a strictly historical play before =)
I wouldn't mind going on with either actually, I'm open for all ideas. But I would like to get basic rules into playing, like non-godmoding (since all in here are reasonably active that should not be a problem).
