| I just joined but haven't listened to any music yet. I am American but my father was born in Scotland. I used to listen to Scotch and Irish music when I was a kid. My mother liked it a lot. She had a whole collection of 78's she bought from the Tudor music shop in New York. I am retired and have lived in Panama for the past 11 years. I don't get to use English too much as my wife only speaks Spanish and Panama of course is a Spanish speaking country. Anyway I think Celtic music is really beautiful. Aside from music I like tropical plants and flowers which is why I retired to Panama. Actually where I live is about a mile in elevation so it is cool and misty most of the time. It is always green and there are lots of dairy cows. Maybe it is a little bit like Ireland but we have no frost. Back to music my mother's favorite Scotch singer was Robert Wilson.
