I would like to take this opportunity to wish all here a very joyous and merry Christmas, especially Celtic Radio for being available to all of us, that we may enjoy the music and culture unique to the Celtic peoples and their heritage. May the hand of GOD touch the souls of all here in the Celtic Radio community that may be traveling during this wondrous and solemn season. And also to all their friends and family that travel to spend this time with the ones they love and cherish. So here's a pint of good dark stout and a dram of good Irish whiskey, I raise them up to you and the Heavens...Slainte and Skol y'all...

Nollaig Shona Dhuit...Nollaig Chridheil...Blithe Yule...Nadolig Llawen...

It's been a while since I've been on and I hope to remedy that in the future. It's been a busy year for me especially the last half. I got one more item off my bucket list and that was to be in our local theater production of "Mary Poppins." Loads of fun but I don't think I want to do the Supercal dance for a while. Job layoff in October and now I'm starting all over at a new place. Plus neighbors, kids, and grand kids poping in and out I'm barely getting any time for myself. Seems everybody needs my help lately. God and celtic music keep me going. I'm hoping to pick some of the instruments that I have been ignoring and get back on track. I may even finish that Adam West Batman model kit soon. Everyone have a happy New Year and may it be filled with the jigs and reels!

Had a wonderful Christmas and looking forward to the New Year's Eve service at our church. Daughter and son-in-law had to leave early because of the impending blizzard in Texas, but they look like they've beaten the storm and should make it home. Sad to see them leave early, but it was great to have them.

Robert, great to see you back around! Hope the new job goes well for you.

Everyone have a wonderful remainder of the holiday season! Take care and have a great day!

I hope that everyone had a wonderful Christmas. I have not had the time to be on here as much as I was and I am sure there are a few who are glad....LOL laugh.gif rolleyes.gif clap.gif
I took up pipe smoking as a hobby and have been fixing and restoring pipes when I can. So this along with all of my family holiday comments has not left me much free time for me to play. Hopefully that will change a little bit in the New Year.

Hope everyone had a great Holiday!
Ours was fantastic. Friends and relatives together always seems to make for a good time.
No snow up here in New England. In the 60's which is so unusual. Hope for a White Christmas next year.
Now time to get ready to ring in the New Year!

Yes, it was a great Christmas Holiday indeed. All were safe and sound. Our youngest and the last to fly the coop made it home on Christmas morning for 3 days and our other son ( who is an equipment manager in pro hockey ) made it back to OKC to spend 5 days with his beautiful, precious little angel of a daughter that he has not seen since she was born in October ( the pictures melted our hearts ). We have a son and daughter-in-law that live in town who is due on the 31st with their 2nd child ( she will be our 10th grand child ) With 6 kids living in 5 states, that span this great country of ours from coast to coast, we realize that for all to be together will be a Herculean feat as well as one that will also require the gift of Midas to accomplish...We cherish any time that we can get with any one of them, at any time of the year. So, eat, drink, pray and be merry, for a child is born to ease our pain and alleviate the burden of our sins...
