Celtic Radio Reunion 2008, For those that hang on this site!

Heck yea there's a committee! And we have been working on this for a while now.
Yep we are still planning a get together at Classic Celtic Festival in Bethlehem, Pa for 2008

We are gonna need people for all types of things so those that want to help we will gladly put you to work!

I'll be at Bethlehem each September, even if nobody else shows up. It's still the best and biggest Celtic Fest in North America. I already have my room reserved for this year. I think some of last years crew is coming to party again.

Nothing set on the web page yet, http://www.celticfest.org/ but I do know that The Barley Boys are playing there this year. The page should be updated soon.

Okay, I just finished reading all 46 pages of this thread and I'm in too!! (Depending on how far it is from Nebraska!) If it's not overly far and not overly expensive I will be there and will also be happy to help out in any way I can!

I'm sure there will be plenty of people to room with Celtic cat! I myself will probably be bringing a tent and camping out (My children LOVE to camp, they even make me put their tent up in the living room occasionally!!) so that might be an idea you could consider also!

I know I will be bringing the new travel trailer. I'm just waiting for more information so I can make reservations.

I thought I would get this post going again. Does anyone have a report on this year's Celtic Fest? Any pictures to post?

We didn't take many pictures of the bands this year because we didn't go to some of the shows. The band line-up this year was rather sub-par. We spent more time hanging with the vendors.

Hi y'all, I just stumbled upon this topic... A get-together on 2008 in PA?? You know what, I might actually be able to make that one! My new daughter-in-law's family lives in PA around the Nescopek/Berwick area. This might be a good excuse for her to go back home to visit her family and for me to tag along too. Who knows!

There is also a chance that by next autumn, my son & daughter-in-law may move to PA themselves so she can go to graduate school in Philly or perhaps Boston. I get so sad at the thought of them moving that far away from us here in Georgia, but bless her heart the girl has an amazing opera voice and I just keep thinking that she needs to pursue this... but maybe she can go to graduate school in Georgia, maybe please??? We'll see.

Keep us informed about the get-together then, I'll keep checking here for updates.

First! WHO IN THEIR RIGHT MIND WOULD WANT TO COME TO HEE HAW HELL, GEORGIA!

SECOND! YOU KNOW THIS THREAD HAS BEEN TURNING AROUND SINCE 2004!

I doubt I would make time to put this together since no one comes out to the activities any way.
