I just wanted to thank everybody for their understanding while we work on some of the board guidelines. I have tried to move the last 30-60 day of posts from the General Discussion area to this sub-forum, however, I think I am going to stop there (theres alot of posts!). If there are any threads in particular you want moved, just let me know. The other item I wanted to discuss is the name of this forum - Chit-Chat. Does this name sound ok? Do you want to have a different name for this forum? Thanks again! |

Wow! This is terrific! I think it is really great MacFive! what a great job you always do on this site to make it even better and better for us all! Thank you! |

Paul, love the new format. It will certainly encourage more new folks to post, and therefore stay around. Most of my posts on CR would have to be considered 'chit-chat.' This is the place I went to get away from the deeper aspects of my life and work. Then I met a lot of great folks and just wanted to chat and speak and share and maybe even make them laugh. So that being said, I for one, appreciate you developing the forum for us to do that. As far as the name? Chit Chat is what it is, but I am sure some of our more literary folks could come up with something. Unmoderated Musings? Neighborhood Gossip? Whatever it is called, it is what it is, and thanks for allowing it. Eamon |

I hope you aren't spelling "chit" with a Mexican accent. |

Ok, sounds like Chit-Chat is what it is. What I will do as people respond to posts in the general discussion area, I will move those threads as they come bubbling up to the top of that forum. Yes, I am glad that we found a way to have all of this wonderful conversation continue. While not related to the theme of this site, it is very important that we have places for community chat about anything. Thanks again for everyones help on this! |

I am still thinking this is a Celtic site! Where is all this Spanish coming from? Did Leo forget his first language? He has been in Panama much too long! |
Posted by: Aaediwen 04-Jun-2004, 05:33 PM | ||
WOW! My Spanish is actually still good enough to understand that |

I am jealous! I live in the southwest with a very high Mexican American population and I could understand some things, but not all! boo hoo! |

Alright Leo TRANSLATION!!!!!! I hate it when you put that Spanish stuff in I can't understand. Takes me back to my childhood when my older sister and brother used to spell out words in front of me and later spoke in French just to drive me nuts. Don't you know by now I'm nuts enough???? BTW- back to topic. Whatever works for me and thanks Paul for all the site updates. Man miss a few days and come back and it's a whole new place. Now I know how my husband feels when he comes home from work and I've rearranged all the furniture and password protected the bathroom. |
