I went tonight to see the new movie with Brad Pitt, Eric Bana and Orlando Bloom. Although the story line is one we all know, the action was the best punch! Costume's were beautiful and I've never seen so many pretty legs in a while since Braveheart. Speaking of which while I sat there watching the movie I realized I was watching a special reunion of men. The men in the movie were mostly from Lord of the Rings, Braveheart and Rob Roy. Instead of watching the movie I sat there picking out the ones I recognized from these 3 movies and making a concious effort to remember the parts they played and which movies they were in. My favorite part of this movie was the Sword battle between Hector(Eric Bana) and Achillies(Brad Pitt) although well done there were points that you could tell were very well practiced and one person was slightly ahead of the other and moved sooner than was needed to deflect the hit. But still a very long practiced sword fight. They spent alot of time on that one they did. After the movie my family voiced their opinions of the movie and what was amazing was we all felt the movie action was well done and the large orchestration of people involved had to be well organized but left all of us lacking enthusiasum for the movie. The sword fighting was the better part to all of us. So go check this movie out and let us know what YOU think.
I considered going to see "Troy" yesterday when I went to see "Van Helsing". The shows were only about five minutes apart. I would like to see "Troy". I've always liked Brad Pitt.

May the Irish hills caress you. May her lakes and rivers bless you. May the luck of the Irish enfold you. May the blessings of Saint Patrick behold you.
Troy and Van Helsing are next on my list... would hate to miss either in theaters...

Where now the horse and the rider? Where is the horn that was blowing? Where is the helm and the hauberk, and the bright hair flowing? Where is the hand on the harpstring, and the red fire glowing? Where is the spring and the harvest and the tall corn growing? They have passed like rain on the mountain, like a wind in the meadow The days have gone down in the West behind the hills into shadow Who shall gather the smoke of the dead wood burning Or behold the flowing years from the Sea returning? ~ J.R.R. Tolkien
I'm glad I saw "Troy" and now this Friday going to go see "Van Helsing". I could go to the movie every week if I had time.... I wish I got paid to view them.
Out of the mouth of babes... My next door neighbor, who moved away this spring.. droped her nine year old daughter off for a few hours last week, for a visit.. Katlin is like a mini thirty year old woman ..
We were talking about movies.. and she brought up Troy.. she loves Brad Pitt, then said to me .. "Oh your guy Orlando is in that.. we have to go ! " I replied.. " Oh yeah! Brad Pitt and Orlando Bloom.. that will be easy to watch" She snaped her fingers and said.. " Oh hell yah ! and they are both in skirts!!!"
I MISS her being next door ...........

Why, Aragorn, a GOOD movie has something to entertain everyone! Just try not to think about WHY the females in the audience are in the audience, and focus on why YOU are in the audience.
... You don't think we watch American football for the GAME, do you?... tight pants, bare legs... tasty...
Troy is definately on my list, along with Shrek 2 and Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
And I have to agree with all you ladies that the biggest draw to go see Troy is all the beautiful, lean, rugged men in mini skirts. Can you beleive that Brad Pitt is 40
