I beard thee.
Let us meet on
This Ethereal Plane
Two warriors of
Renown and Fame
A sword, a shield,
And spear
The weapons are.
No helm or greaves,
Nor corselet.
A linen girth
Our only garb.

Let us then fight
Without respite
One Champion Death
The other Life
And He who wins
Upon this day
May claim the prize
And go his way.

Thus has it been
Since Dawn of Time
Each day we meet
And spar again.
But in the end
'Tis Death who'll win
And bring the Stars
All crashing in.

What an exciting duel you describe here and very passionate between two adversaries that are about to fight. Duels must have been quite a rush in those days of honor and pride. You captured it well again Camac great poem.

Thank you. LOA

Good stuff as usual Camac, sorry it took me so long to respond, (but I had to recover from my wounds).

By the way, have you ever seen a movie called: “The Duelist”? It stares one of the Caridenes sons, (I can’t remember which one), and Harvey Keitel, it’s a good one.
