| Hey everybody, I was just wondering if there is any festivals or games near where I live in Knoxville Tennessee? I might be doing it wrong, but I can't find any on the internet. I would really like to go to one! |

| The Smoky Mountain Highland Games takes place in Maryville, TN in May each year (http://www.gsfg.org/). In Dandridge, the Scots-Irish Music Festival takes place on September 29 (http://www.scots-irish.org/) A bit further, there is the Sycamore Shoals Celtic Festival in Elizabethton on September 7-9 (http://www.shoalsceltfest.com/). There are also numerous festivals in neighboring states. I've been maintaining a list of festivals on my website since 1998 with more than 500 listings with links to their websites. | You are welcome! I'm sure that you will have a great time. I have pictures of myself as a baby at the Glengarry Highland Games. I have been around festivals my whole life and look forward to them every year. |

| I know the festival in Ringgold, GA, near Chattanooga is a waste of time. Last year there were only 3 tents there, but they did have good music. |
