| Can anyone tell me what clan 'Henderson' belongs to? Although I ' m English by birth, my mother's maiden name was Henderson. I've traced the name back to 1876 when George Henderson married Sarah Amy Horth at Preston church in SUSSEX on 11th July. His father was also named George and was an engine fitter, I can find no other link to them in Sussex-could it be they'd moved down from Scotland prior to 1876? Any help would be much appreciated by this sassenach! |

| Sorry, I just found you. Please, go to Gathering of the Clans and then Clan Henderson. I have posted some threads for other. I am 12th generation and have loads of ancient documents, parchments, and journals. Also, I was raised in the clan, don't know any different. If I can help let me know.......good luck. |
