There's a dear little plant that grows in our Isle Twas St . Patrick himself, sure, that set it; And the sun of his labour with pleasure did smile, And with dew from his eye often wet it. It grows through the bog, through the brake, through the Mireland, and they call it the dear little shamrock of Ireland.

Hi all . My great great grandparents came from Ireland and settled in Ga. USA. I have all ways listened to celtic music. My wife on the other hand does not enjoy it as much as I do. I enjoy listen to this station while I am at work. In the Emergency Services it helps me to unwind.
Welcome to you as well, emt 460! I hope you grow to love this place as much as I have! Lots of great music to listen to here as well as some of the nicest people to be found anywhere on the net! So dive on in. The water is just right!
Well...welcome to both of you emt640 and anhrefn!! This is a really wonderful place to listen to your favorite Celtic artists, find new artists & you can post on the mb & meet some great people too! We are a friendly bunch (as you've noted from the 'do you have red hair' question) and I am sure you'll have a great time when you visit!
Hi again! I was just wondering... Do you have a Public Radio station near where you live? If so, you might want to find out what their programming schedule is. Where I live, every Sunday afternon from 3pm to 4pm, our local station plays a program called Thistle and Shamrock, an excellent Celtic music program, hosted by a Scottish woman named Fiona Ritchie. I could just sit and listen to her voice all day! But the music she plays is excellent indeed! You should check into it.
Welcome to you EMT640! I hope you enjoy the forum with its wonderful people as well as the great music Celtic Radio has to offer.. I look forward to learning more about you.
