HI!

I want to add a picture that goes with a sotry I am working on, but I can't get the file to attach. It says this type of file is not supported. It is in .bmp format. So, I'm just curious, what types ARE supported? I can't find a listing anywhere. Maybe I'm jsut looking in the wrong place...

Which forum are you trying to attach a file. I may not have it enabled, but can quickly change that!

It is in the RPG forum. Thanks for answering Mac! I know you've been very busy lately and I was afraid my message had slipped by you. I was going to refresh the thread in a few days anyway! biggrin.gif Thanks!

Might be better too, if you can convert it to jpg. Save everyone some download time that way wink.gif
Also save you the upload time.

Attachments are allowed in that forum. I think attachments in general are limited to certain types. What exactly are you trying to attach? What file format?

Have you read the game/story I've been working on over in the RPG forum called The Guardians? In it the characters are being followed by the strange creatures that look like children composed entirely of shadows. I have a black and white image of one in .bmp format that I wanted to post so that people can see what it looks like, but I couldn't get it take it.

I've added .bmp as an acceptable attachment.

If anyone is having a problem attaching any files, please post the extension here. This would be the 3 letters after the "."

Thanks.

Hi Mac! I still couldn't get it to take a .bmp file, even after you added it. Luckily I was able to FINALLY figure out how to convert it a .jpg file thoug, so I got it uploaded that way. Thanks, buddy!

Your right. I will have to do some research on how to add this extension as the place I added it seemed to have no effect.

I was going to suggest a converion though and I see you have already done that! thumbs_up.gif
