Hello All
To let you all Know I live 45 Miles From Mount Saint Helens. It has been an interesting few weeks and now it seems that Mount Hood is waking also, I live about 40 miles from that one. The current eruptions have been mild and very entertaining as I can see them from my front porch. for now things seem calm and quiet though the Lava dome is getting larger and larger.
It seems funny to me that what they don't tell you on the news is that I live on what they refer to as a Volcanic Chain. We have had people saying that the chain will not erupt but friends of mine that work in the USFS say differently. Who do you think I am going to believe????
Any way so far every thing is fine. I'll let you know when things really start to shake up. |

You spend your time with the "ghosts" that live in your house and you enjoy it more then when your "Living" family comes to visit
you hold a conversation with your 100 year old house and you gain more knowledge from it then you do your Professor at school
You can feel your Dragons snuggle up with you on a cold night
your favorite earrings disappear and you know the fae have visited you
before each meal you take some of your food off your plate and give it to the Goddess and God to show your thanks.
Some one looks at you and calls you a "Freak" and you say "Thank You"
People try to scare you with demons and hell and you just laugh
You see a wounded animal and then you heal it
In the midst of a Volcano erupting as people are running for safety your having a party because Mom is giving birth. (Yes I live near Mount Saint Helens)
You don't fear death standing at the end of your bed, because you willingly give him your hand and are excited to see what the next adventure is
You are in a cave so black that no one can see, you have no flash light, matches, torches of any kind nothing that gives off any light, yet a light comes from you and you can help the others.

If I may please join this discussion,
I have chosen to go with out a "Label" yet I am called a Pagan, which is fine. Call me what you wish but do not judge me. I am searching for something more then what "Man" says is available to me. I am searching for unity, oneness, true happiness. A way to become what I know I have in me for the betterment of all.
All of us are connected to each other and everything around us.
Pagan to me means the ability to be my true self, letting the Prana of the Universe take care of me and those around me. Having a REAL relationship with Mother Earth and Father Sun or what ever you want to call them. In doing this I am able to have better relationships with those around me. I do not worship Idols. But I do give thanks every day all day to the higher power for what I receive.
I am sure you can tell I am not a theologian but I am a very spiritual person. I know that there is a higher Power then myself but, I also know that I am a part of that higher power and so are all of you, Just as are the rest of the people on this level of existence. Faith is believing, Religion is brain washing to an extent.
I am searching for "True Happiness" that comes from within and from the one.
This might not make any sense to some of you and that is ok. we are all on our own paths. To live in the moment and be content and happy to know with out a doubt that no matter what there is always good in every thing. To love everyone and everything unconditionally. Those are my goals and my path.

Hi all,
I have been making really lame posts in HC lately and so I figured that until I get my creative juices flowing again I would rather just read on a daily basis then post garbage. I see no reason for me to post something that will drag the story down just to be able to say that I have made a post recently. Makes no sense to me anyway when I think I have something worthwhile I will post but currently "Rider" is in the forest in deep meditation. Hmmm, maybe Liriel and Drizzt can come meditate with me and ........well it was just an Idea. Heck anybodies Ideas would be good for me right now.

Hello again every one,
As I am sure you can tell there is alot of changes going on with celtic hearts right now. By the time I am done with all of the rearranging I am hoping that the forums will be easier to navigate. Please be patient as this is a time consuming process. I hope to have everything done by the end of the week. If by chance you can not find something you have previously posted please contact me and I will find where I put it, IF by chance it was accidentialy deleted then you will recieve a message from me asking you to please post it again. Hello every one and thank you for stopping by to see what wonderous Photographs people have decided to share with us. There are only a couple of guide lines that you must follow for you to post in here.
1. The picture must actually be taken with a camera of some sort.
2. If the picture is not yours, meaning if you did not take the photograph, then you must give proper credit to the person who did take the photo.
3. No Adult material is allowed. Adult Material meaning, anything with a sexual, lude, vulgar, profane, indecent or Mature Content. This is NOT a site to place pornographic or any thing of that nature on.
4. Place all your comments in the Comment thread, do not post comments in the threads that contain the pictures.
5. If you choose to post photos then start a topic for ALL of your photo's to go into.
I hope you all enjoy your Visit & please remember to come back from time to time as there are always new photo's being placed. |

Slow Grilled Pork Roast
The size of the group of people will determine the size of the roast you buy.
Figure 1- 1 1/2 pounds of meat per person. My Family eats alot of this so I buy a larger Roast.
Ingredients:
2 - 7-8 LB Pork Roasts
8 - Cloves Fresh Garlic ground in to a paste
2tsp. Freash Rosemary slightly bruised
1-can Frozen Orange Juice - Thawed
4-Bottles of your favorite BBQ Sauce
Mix together The Garlic Paste, Rosemary, Orange Juice & BBQ Sauce.
in a Large Bowl place the Roasts and smother with Half the Sauce, Cover and let sit in the fridge for 24 hours. (Make sure to rotate the roasts ever 8 hours)
Heat up your Grill so that it is medium hot. This is a Slow Grill recipe!
Smother the Roasts with the sauce and place on the grill.
Turn roasts every 10 - 15 minutes to ensure even cooking.
After each Turn brush more Sauce on the roasts.
Do this for 2-3 hours
once the Roasts are done remove and slice. heat up the remaining Sauce and serve with the meat.
Add your Favorite Side dish.
I always Serve My Mothers Potato Salad, Fresh Grilled Pineapple Chunks & home made Pork n' beans.
if having a pot luck type setting that's even better because there are more flavors to savor!

Celtic Hearts is getting a new format so it should be easier to navigate & easier to post. I'm so glad your enjoying Celtic Hearts! Have you checked out the Art threads yet?? So many talented people have posted in celtic hearts it is hard to pick one favorite. I love all the posts! Anyway, hope you continue to post one the "Face lift" of CH is done. see ya'll around.
