I really thought I had posted this, but guess I did not.

Here is the link for the festival.

Hope many of you on this site who attend will look me up at the 1745 Jacobite Society camp. We are usually very very far away. If you don't see me there, i will most certainly be at the Wicked Tinkers performances as time permits.

Hope to see you all there!

It's going to be a great time as long as the sun is out more than the rain! Didn't care for the hail last year. laugh.gif

But no matter what, it'll be fun!

I am sorry to say that I will not be attending this event afterall....boo hoo boo hoo. I am having back health issues and after all new x-rays this week, doctors orders confirmed that I need to stay home.

I have already spoken to Jay from the Wicked Tinkers and told him as well as my Commander for the 1745 Jacobite Society. It breaks my heart, but on the other hand, I must admit that I am glad to be home and not worry to have to be a burden to anyone.

Perhaps the Tucson Highland games? That is only an hour from me!

Please report how all goes. Last year I hated the much rain and hail. Hope you all don't experience that this year.

Have a terrific time and share photos if you can!

I anxiously await your reply of the event.

I wondered...I mean I looked for you but to no avail. The festival was a blast although I think there were less people this year. Great weather on Saturday. Today was a bit cloudy and cool til around 11 - 11:30 am when the sun broke through. We ended up leaving around 1:00pm to come back home.

There was a new band there this year: "Highland Way" out of San Diego. They were just a few doors down from the 1745's location. Excellent tunes!

Well...maybe next year!

Dear Haggishead! Thanks so much for reporting to me your time at the event.

I had a couple friends call me and give me live feed from the Wicked Tinkers and photos too that they had taken.

I am so very sorry I had missed you and many others. I really had major mixed feelings about not attending these games.

It is my plan to attend next year's Flag games as it is one of my favorites all year.

glad the weather was not so bad. Last year was horrid!

I heard from my friends who attended that there were many good bands this year performing as well.

Not many at the 1745 camp, but next year there shall be much more of us. Some had to go out of town and some of us either didn't have the money or had health issues.

Many thanks for your report!
