I heard this group for the first time on this station, and wanted to get ahold of a couple of their albums, but have had a very hard time finding them. I assume the group has split up? If not, do they have a website? All the ones I have tried or ben sent to has been dead. Also, anyone know where I could buy some CDs?

Thanks,
Alex

Joe Bethancourt (he of the Kazoosaphone and the electronic bagpipes) had a band in the Phoenix area for a while, called "The Bringers." It's gone now, but the memory lingers. It was the #2 band in Phoenix of any and all types. It was a Celtic band that was absolutely fantastic. I'm sorry that there won't be anymore CDs, but you can enjoy this one.

The following announcement was issued on 11/05/00 from the popular local Irish band,The Bringers:

The Bringers are saddened announce the amicable departure of lead vocalists Nichelle Scott and Catherine Rustenbeck from the band. The Bringers wish to express their immense gratitude to Nikki & Catherine for all of their hard work and sacrifice on behalf of the band, and to wish them well deserved success and happiness, in all of their future endeavors. Nikki and Catherine have been invited to appear with the band periodically as featured guests as everyone's schedules permit.

The remaining members of The Bringers (Michi Regier, Joe Bethancourt, Byron Miller, and Vash) will be on hiatus from gigging for the month of November to regroup from this change, and to attend to personal business. The Bringers will continue to host the west side session at O'Brien's Pub'n'Grub every Wednesday night (including Nov).

Thank you as always,
The Bringers

We update our links in the music database to this yahoo group since it appears the band no longer has their own website address.

Thankyou!
