My Dad grew up on a farm near Loch Ness.... The Loch is a really special place, I loved holidays there when I was young.
My Dad, my grandparents, his brothers or sisters or any of my immediate family have NEVER seen anything there... And my Dad used to persuade my brother and I to spend hours 'just looking' at the water in a desperate attempt to find Nessie... I suppose it left him in peace to fish or read a book!
Still, it brings in the tourists which boosts the local economy, so I say long may the myth continue!
Aye i think there is something big living in the dark loch, so many witnesses cant be wrong. And a saint being one of them .... well what better authority eh? And i love diana gabaldons version that there is something like a time tunnel underneath loch ness .... ah theres worse explanations

wouldn't it be lovely to have Nessie proved as real or would it take the mystery out of the whole thing. Half of the fun is gazing at the loch and wondering if maybe, just maybe you might see something.
As a well-spent day brings happy sleep, so life well used brings happy death. Leonardo da Vinci (1452 - 1519)
