I'm new to the site, I love Celtic music and it is the best music I've found to study by (I have my earphones on, it drowns out the household noises. I'm a PhD student and work full-time, so I probably won't be able to check in very often, but I just wanted to drop a line and introduce myself.
Although I don't think i truly have much Celtic heritage (maybe some Irish back there somewhere) I truly believe I have an Irish soul, the music resonates with me so much.
Welcome Mooeygoose! Glad you found the place. As we say back home, pull up a chair and set a spell. You'll find great people and great music--an unbeatable combination. Enjoy yourself.

DISCIPLINE MUST BE A HABIT SO INGRAINED THAT IT IS STRONGER THAN THE EXCITEMENT OF BATTLE OR THE FEAR OF DEATH. General George S. Patton
Laws that forbid the carrying of firearms, disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes. Such laws make things worse for the assulted, and better for the assailants. They serve rather to encourge, than to prevent homicides. For an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man.
