Not waiting until summer here. Trout fishing is allowed year round and I plan to be back at it ASAP. biggrin.gif

Right now we can catch Browns and Rainbows on nymphs and streamers and if we have a couple of bright sunny days with no wind and the temperature in at least the low 40's, you might catch some on a dry Blue-Winged Olive, Black Gnat or a Hendrickson.

I too admire your ambition! I am also jealous that it's warm enough to go fishing and it's open. We are having an old fashioned blizzard here. Can't get out at all. Highway is closed. My dad is at our home hopefully staying in off the streets. tongue.gif

Well, catch a fish or two for me. Thank them for their effort for me as you release them.

I found it at Allposters.com after doing a web search for jester pictures.
It took some work to get the image small enough to work.

I found this in the book I am reading "A treatyse of fysshynge wyth an Angle" by Dame Juliana Berners and thought I would share this with you.

Ye shall vnderstande that this is for to say, if a man lackes leche or medicine, he shall make thre thynges his medicine and he shall neuer need moe. The first of them is a mery thought. The seconde is a labour not outragious. The third is a diet measurable. The first if a man will euer more be in mery thought and haue a glad spyrite, he must eschew all contrarious company and all places of debate where he myght haue any occasions of melancholy, & if he wyll haue a labour not outragious: he must the ordeyne hym to his hartes ease, and plesaunce without study, pensyfnes of trauayle, a mery occupacion whiche may reioyce his harte, and in which his spirites may haue a mery delyte. And if he will be dieted measurably he must eschewe all places of ryot, whiche is cause of surfet and of syckenesse, and he must drawe hym to places of swete ayre and hungry, and eate nouryshable meates and disyrable also.

In other words; Be Merry, Do the work you enjoy doing and eat healthy.

Eat, Drink and be Merry

My idea of fishing is "to Kroger I go, I go". Look hooked one, and it cleaned itself.

Now that's my kind of fish.

Richard,

Thanks for the site! I'll look it up. Would be good entertainment. I need some of that with all this snow! Had a non-typical buck in last night. Really fat and beautiful. Getting tired of watching the eagles play and the snow fall. Need to do something beside stay here on the puter so a new book would be grand! beer.gif
