The Mistress

You look lustfully at my firm belly and my small breast.
My perfume fills your very being.
You would seek fame and adventure through me!
Sail upon me, sir, and I shall dance to the wind
Raising my gray skirts and lifting my white petticoats about you.
I shall let down my long green hair and destroy you!
Pulling you down to my cold heart
Your flesh shall feed my kingdom!

Your widow will curse me, while your children shall seek me.

Escape me? Never!
Survive my dance and forever I will have your soul.
As an old man, you shall sit at my shore,
My scent always in your mind
Waiting for the day that I claim your ashes

dont know if this is whats going on but.... here are some nice lyrics
from a very talented writer...If you like songs and stories of the sea, new and old, you'll certainly enjoy Tom's singing, his stories and his recordings. note.gif note.gif

Deceptions
by Tom Lewis

Inside every sailor you'll find a young man,
Itching to get to sea, soon as he can,
To see all them pretty girls, dusky and brown,
And to get far away from his boring home-town.

Inside every sailor's heart you'll find a girl
Who is constant and true, she's a jewel, a pearl,
But she's like any other girl, happy or sad,
It's just this one's in love with a wandering lad.

Inside every kind of ship black, green or grey,
There are men with their eyes fixed on things far away,
Beyond the horizon, ahead or behind,
Will the dream that they're searching for be what they find?

Inside every sailor you'll find an old man,
With rose coloured memories of where he began,
Where he dreamed of pretty girls, dusky and brown,
And he longs to get back to his boring home-town.

"If I say something that can be interpreted in two ways, and one of the ways makes you sad or angry, I meant it the other way."

often in error, never in doubt.

sometimes what ya think ya want
isnt what ya thought ya wanted
till ya get what ya thought ya wanted
and then what ya had is gone....
