| You've probably heard of a new networking site called Twitter over the past year. Twitter is a free social networking and micro-blogging service that enables its users to send and read messages known as tweets. Tweets are text-based posts of up to 140 characters displayed on the author's profile page and delivered to the author's subscribers who are known as followers. Celtic Radio has been on Twitter since June of 2008, but we are just now starting to ramp up our Twitter page for use with our site. Contest Alerts, New Artists, Site news and more will be found in our tweets. We also hope to build up a big enough following so we can help musicians advertise their Gigs and new CDs.
