Have you looked at any of the film clips on the internet to see what's around the corner?
I just left my sons house and I got to watch all of the film clips that have been released on the internet. While he redid my hard drive I watched films...awesome entertainment. Lucus makes another billion or two!
I saw all of the Star Wars movies each multiple times in their first release in theaters and in the extended versions in rerelease.
There was a theater in a suburb of Detroit called the Americana. During the late seventies, Americana 1 was a huge movie theater that seated three thousand. A whole bunch of us science fiction fans would get together to see the big SF blockbuster movies on opening day. One group would show up in the morning to buy tickets. Another group would be first in line at the doors to reserve three rows of seats: the front row, a middle row and a back row. Each could watch from their own preference.
The screen was huge. They had a special projector to project a wider than normal image. From the front row, you couldn't see the whole image, as it would fade out in the periphery. I felt airsick when flying over the snowfields of Hoth.
Now for the second trilogy and the rerelease of the original, I get to take my Star Wars fans, the second generation.

Anxiously awaiting the next movie. Have all of the originals, the remakes, and the DVD's. I have seen the first one in three different languages. Loved it in german, understood enough to get the gist of the story but the dialog did not get in the way of the special effects.
In fact sitting here thinking It was "Star Wars" was the first movie I paid over $5 to see. It was $6 in Carmel that year to see the movie. My hubby and I were standing in line and he said "this better be worth me paying $6 for"!
We laugh when we think about what he said. And $6 is nothing anymore to go to a movie, especially at night.
I'm a "Star Wars" fan of the very beginning! I remember the fights I had with my parents until they allowed me to go to the theater to watch the first movie...and I had to save my pocket money to be able to buy a ticket. I think today I have all which has ever been available on Video and DVD and I can't wait for "Episode III - Revenge of the Sith". So far I have been able to check the official website and the trailers there.

Yup, I've seen the trailer for the last movie coming out. I hope this one isn't as disapointing as the last one was. The guy who palys Aniken, is just...weird.....

I have to admit I hadn't seen any of them until a few days ago. My boyfriend introduced me to Episode I and II so that we could watch III when it comes out. They are great movies, can't wait until III is in theaters.
