Ah Brother, delusional again. And BTW- the luck continues.
Come to Pittsburgh anytime you want to see what a Super Bowl trophy looks like. You can look at all 4 of them. And Cleveland has what to show it's the powerhouse of the world?

I don't have a favorite team, I have a system. It allows me to thouroghly enjoy whatever game I can catch without having to rely on any sort of team loyalty. It is a complicated method of placing western and southern teams over eastern and northern teams (with some notable exceptions like Denver and Miami which are placed below whoever they are playing). It also factors in things like colors of uniforms, obnoxious or overly skinny wives of quarterbacks, and offensive coaches. (Any football fans out there should be able to identify at least one quarterback that recently moved to a Northern, Eastern team that automatically puts his team in that category.)
I realize that this may sound strange to some of you who loyally support hometown teams or regional favorites, but it does make the game interesting and means that I can flip through all of the channels and always have a list of favorites.
By the way, I watched Dallas at Seattle last night and was glad that I did, those last five minutes were one of the most incredible games I have ever seen. I am not normally a Dallas fan (here is an insight into how my system works, Seattle's extreme westerness normally trumps Bill Parcell's enormous gut) but those guys played so intense and so well last night that it was a real joy to see them. Seattle played well too and it was so classicly football that after their last touchdown while they were still convinced that they had moved the scoreboard far enought up (ten points over Dallas) that Dallas pulled off that on-side kick and drove the ball in for a touchdown. And then with just over two minutes left, got to receive it for another drive. But how exciting the final attempt by Seattle to out score with that wild pass to the end zone as the clock hit zero. I thought that was one of the best games I had ever seen and really enjoyed it. Hope the final part of the season can keep up with that kind of performance.

I am not worrying about it this year especially since we lost about half our team from last year. They even did better then I expected. Every Great Team has their bad year now and then.
It's been years since I paid attention to pro football. Back in the day, I liked the Vikings (in the glory days of Carl Eller and the Purple People Eaters).
College is obvious, the CAROLINA TAR HEELS. They are starting to come along in football and basketball has always been tops. And Shadows, where do think the USA women's soccer team gets its best players? UNC of course. Tar Heels rule in women's soccer.

I have been, and will continue to be, a long-suffering Detroit Lions fan. I know the Motor City Kitties are nothing too special (for say the last 40 years), but I grew up watching them in Michigan and remain loyal. Ugh....
I also grew up a Michigan football fan, but after attending Michigan State for grad school, I find myself an MSU basketball fan. Nothing like having your cake and eating it too
One more jab to be had...while living in Utah I developed a healthy dislike for BYU (Go Utes!).
After having applied and being accepted at Michigan I also have a healthy respect for MSU as well even though I dont go there now. Perhaps for vet school I'll end up in Michigan.

MSU does have one of the top vet schools in the nation. Good luck!

Of course you could always go to Vet school at NORTH CAROLINA STATE UNIVERSITY.

Hey don't forget about OSU!!! I have been told that it has a Great Veterinarian Program plus it is a little bit warmer in the Winters then Michigan.
A plus, I usually get to the OSU Campus about 5 times a year so we could meet. (And YES, my Wife always comes along with me.)
