Only problem, with the numbers as they are (SNP 47, Labour 46, Tories 17, Lib Dems 16, Greens 2 and Margo 1) I don't see how the SNP can swing enough votes to get anything done. Looks more like stalemate to me. More's the pity.

Possibly an alliance of SNP, LibDems and the Greens if they can put the indie referendum vote to one side in the short term.

Not sure why the other parties are so frightened of a referendum. If they believe in the Union then surely they will have confidence that the public will vote against it.
