I was thinking earlier today that the money that I put in my purse just seems to disappear rather fast, and I hardly every realize when its gone. So here's an interesting thing... What have you bought today?

1 bottle of water $0.39
1 extra large banana nut muffin $1.49
1 Tank of gas for the guzzler $27.70

Well, I haven't spent any money today, but I did spend $1.89 at Cracker Barrel for dinner last night.
I know what you mean about money going so quickly, though, especially if I make a trip to Walmart. That store practically steals the money right out of my purse . . . tongue.gif

Bagels for breakfast: $1.58
Gas: $5.00
Girl Scout Cookies: $12.00
Knowing what I spent my money on: Priceless

Sorry. It was out there. Had to take the shot.

I have the same problem!
Mainly, mine goes to food!
Why does healthy food have to cost more than unhealthy food?! sad.gif

As for daily spending.. Thats tough.. It depends...
During the day, I spend maybe $10 on lunch
Night time for dinner, I usually cook for myself..
Gas is paid for by my company.

Here's what I spent today...

$1.06 (tax included) on a cup of coffee at a BP gas station in Mokena, Illinois. It was real good. They have little cafés called The Wild Bean in their stores, so you can get real good coffee there.

$1.00 x2 on 20 oz Dr. Pepper
$0.80 single serve pack of (2) Pop Tarts
$0.45 on a bag of Grippos

Should have spent $50 on gas (probably won't cost that much, probably more like $15 - $20), but I have enough to get me back to the gas station

Try dipping your fries in them sometime. Don't think about, just try it. You won't be dissapointed.

I didn't leave the house today but managed to spend £200 online .... I've ordered sky+ which is the same kind of idea as TIVO.

Spending money on CD, I like you smile.gif

/me saves up and spends $50-$100 at a time on that subject. Made all the easier thanks to this website. FUnny how that works out isn't it? Find a really super good radio station, and suddenly one's own music collection just has to start expanding....

Just can't pass up my favorite wine.

Paid $67 for 1997 Mondavi SLD Cabernet I won on the wine auction. That includes two day shipping. Now if I can just stop drinking them long enough to let it age a bit more. laugh.gif

Ugh.

I went to a big flower show this weekend. And I took my sweet bride. And she held my wallet.

There was some really nice stuff there. Plants and flowers from all over the world.

Needless to say, we now have some really nice flowers to plant around the house. Although I had to use a fire extinguisher on my wallet. It's a bunch lighter this morning.

I guess I can't retire this month.

I don't know where it goes but I haven't balanced my check book in 6-7 years so yesterday when my feet were killing me and I had to stay off of them I balanced my checkbook. I had an extra $3300.00 in there. I've always used the same amount from my automatic deposit even when I got an increase in it with payraises so I always looked at the extra as a cushion.
I don't really like knowing how much "Excactly" is in there cause then I want to go spend it. Where if I use it as a cushion I don't think about it...hummm, now where can I go now?
