I hope to do it for a living some day but wording is not my strongpoint. Fortunately for screenwriting you're not supposed to paint a picture like you do with novel writing. You are just supposed to tell the story, the scene "painting" if you will is supposed to be very general so that the director of the movie has more of an artisitc hand in the scenes, hope that makes sense.
Another problem is that I am not very good with dialogue. It's supposed to be a natural conversation right? hahaha! My conversations are terrible! Thank goodness for rewrites!
I'm a kid at heart I guess you could say. I have a few ideas for stories. They are your basic family friendly movies...I love fantasy..not sci-fi...I mean fantasy. Pirates, romance, dragons, kings, queens, elves, dwarfs, horses, etc. Not all in the same story of course. I also like historical fiction as well. I love movies that tell good stories. I tend to hate movies that like to shove the writer's or director's beliefs and opinions on me. I hate preachy films. Just tell me a good story, don't shove your propaganda down my throat...that's what news is for..haha!

There's a dear little plant that grows in our Isle Twas St . Patrick himself, sure, that set it; And the sun of his labour with pleasure did smile, And with dew from his eye often wet it. It grows through the bog, through the brake, through the Mireland, and they call it the dear little shamrock of Ireland.
