I enjoyed Robin Hood.
The Last Airbender...not so much.
There are no other summer movies I am interested in seeing.

I also really enjoyed Robin Hood. Did you know Russell Crowe shot off 200 arrows a day? I think he must of been pretty good by the time of the filming.
I heard a piece of news-now I can't remember where I heard it but I heard Robin Hood was a woman (in true history) I kid you not.

ok, can't wait for the new Mel Gibson movie Edge Of Darkness

Here's the youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qvRdGKxsmD8

Alice in wonderland was a let down, usually I enjoy a Burton/Depp picture but Disney must of had too much influence on this one.

I am debating Airbender, the cartoon series was fun but the casting on this doesn't appear as it will do it justice.

I am surprised no one has mentioned the new Twilight flick Eclipse. A good date movie maybe?

Rented out Hot Tub Time machine which I thought was a nice twist on the whole time continum thing. Waiting for the new Thor movie now. They have some stills form the throne room on the internet and the celtic artwork put into it is unbelievable. Big bucks spent in this movie.
Check out the trailer

Religulous which I thoroughly enjoyed but at times I think Bill Maher went a little to far with the sarcasm. I also completely agree with his stance on organized religion.

Finally saw 2012. The world could have ended before the movie did! Thought it was too long and convoluted.

Seen my first 3D movie - Legend of the Guardians - I enjoyed it very much, albeit it is more of a children's movie. Nonetheless I was in awe with the effects since it was my first time with those funky glasses cool.gif

I saw "Megamind" with my daughter. Some chuckles for myself. The 3D was pretty good.

The last thing I rented was the newest twilight movie which I thought was an improvement over the other two but still not great. I'm with team Van Helsing. You can tell by the sparkly blood on my knife. Now I just have to see the Vampires suck parody. Looking forward to renting out the Sorcerers Appentice from last month and this week it's Despicable Me, Nanny McPhee Returns, and the A-team. perfect timing since we are all kind of stuck in with the mega snow last week and the cold this week. I did see the Last Avatar and harry Potter, both of which I thought were good, but felt frustrated by the fact that they were both a part one. I missed Megamind so I'm stuck waiting for the DVD. sad.gif

This past weekend went to see the "The Eagle", after one my friends called it great.

Good story, some very exciting actions scenes, some very questionable history but in the end enjoyed it.

Although it was shot in and around Loch Lomond, a place I love, I found the scenery to be very disappointing as it appears to be late winter and quite drab.

Just wanted to agree w/robert on the Team Van Helsing opinion at the moment. Had some youngling ask me about which team I was on, That was my reply.
Came up earlier when I heard some caller on a radio say he was a modern day Vamp. Well, I thought, I'm a modern day Van Helsing then.

Saw at the theater "The Green Hornet" - kinda ok. I expected maybe a bit more. And also watched "Just go with it". Great laughs on that one. Adam Sandler is just funny.

Will be watching "Beastly" next week. Hope it's good.

Otherwise I watched recently all 10 Seasons of JAG and started now MacGyver. I love Netflix. heart.gif
