I didn't vote cause I'm not a pagan. What I would like to know though is what exactly are each of those religions. I may be Catholic, but I don't know anything else about paganism. Could some explain, like beliefs and whatnot?

Twas St . Patrick himself, sure, that set it;
And the sun of his labour with pleasure did smile,
And with dew from his eye often wet it.
It grows through the bog, through the brake, through the
Mireland, and they call it the dear little shamrock of Ireland.

I was in the same boat a few months ago (Catholic and ignorant). A friend of mine is a pagan/wiccan/witch and I finally got curious to ask her about it and I found out that I was way off on my assumptions about it. Simple things, like it's monotheistic whereas I'd assumed it was a polytheistic religion. While it's not for me, I can agree and appreciate the concept of "an' it harm none."

I can't say I care for the site design, but the content is fairly useful for getting a basic understanding the tenants of faith at least for her coven.

I think it would help to visit the threads recommending books on this subject. There will be so many questions once you start reading, and differences of opinion depending on which authors you encounter. I'd personally recommend starting with Scott Cunningham because he's very clear, like talking to a friend. Check out The Book Stop - the Other Corner thread. Take your time and read lots of different authors to get a better understanding all-around.

Shadows, I'd like to answer your Poll, but I need to think about it a bit longer. I don't seem to fit into any one catagory.

As was mine, Gaelic Polytheist. Or Celtic Reconstructionist, for a more general term.

And just for the record, Wicca was never an ancient religion (being invented in the 50's), so it doesn't make much sense adding "modern" in front of it.

Since no one has ever given it a specific name, I'd have to say I am a Sundancer.

I am a non-wiccan witch, who is pagan and polytheistic. Pagans can range from agnostic to polytheistic.

Gaelic Poly here. But I constructed my own practices here for practicality sake, I also go by the Nine Virtues as prescribed by ADF

I am a solitary eclectic. To be more precise, I am a shamanic henotheist who follows Cernunnos. You can read a little more about my beliefs at my site here:

Ecclectic Solitary on this end. I study a lot of things because I like to Learn. I've even studied Zen Buddhism because I enjoy the meditation and serenity it has. Unfortunately, I can't sit still long enough for that to have a full effect *chuckling*.

I find myself most comfortable when I'm able to move around amongst the many paths before me. I was never any good with 'Just One' direction....

I cannot vote either. I practice Huna, which is of ancient Hawaiian beliefs, but is not a religion. In fact, its first two principles are that,"the world is what you think it is" and "there are no limits". I choose as do many of you, to use the knowledge and rituals which appeal to me most and give me the greatest benefit.
