Unfortunately, we have made some changes to the request system so that only Celtic Radio Founder members can make requests during the hours of 9:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M.

We are doing this for a few reasons. First, realistically it is getting very difficult for the number of requests made to play during a reasonable amount of time. Some members are waiting hours for a song to play.

Second, it really does make sense to give preference to our Celtic Radio Founder members for this feature during the day. The Celtic Radio Founder members provide funding to this site that allows us to have CD contests, expand our content, buy and replace hardware and pretty much keep the site going. Along with our advertisers and proceeds generated by our gift store - every single penny is needed for us to keep on running our site, broadcast and expanding.

So, I hope everyone can understand this change in the request policy. Take a look at the features now of a Celtic Radio Founder account. There really is no better deal for any internet radio site. $10 a year gets you alot on here! biggrin.gif

Sooooo what would be the chances of having an all request hour or two .... kind of like your two for tuesday... or *choke* bagpipe hour??? i know there are considerations of an artist being played to much but you could still put them on hold. note.gif beer_mug.gif

Well Mac, I had been thinking about becoming a member for awhile. With all the recent additions that have been made, finally decided to go ahead.

Thanks for all your hard work.

PS. Wow, I just noticed that I can upload larger pictures!!!! No more trying to crop pictures so they are under 50k anymore!!!

We could definitely think about having that. The only problem is if we have a period of no requests. We will definitely look into it.

Yes, the Founder's Club is an excellent deal. Be sure to checkout all of the features in your Founder Control Panel. There really is alot of good stuff there to make your listening enjoyment even better!

Out of the 50 tunes listed on my favorites, 14 are strictly bagpipe tunes and 3 more feature the pipes prominently. That doesn't even account for the tunes that have the pipes in the background.

I could listen to the pipes all day! There's nothing like a massed pipe band playing a tune!
