A very Happy St. Patrick's Day to all of you!!! We refuse to let this virus derail our enjoyment of this special holiday - which is also our daughter's birthday ;D - so we're listening to Celt Rock tunes on the CelticRadio app (sooo very glad & thankful for this!), and lifting a Toast to friends, family, and brethren worldwide. May Health, Strength, Love and Community carry us through crisis and bring us all closer!
Slainte Math!!! |

Today's results: I Speak Yankee!
35% Yankee
30% General American English
15% Dixie
10% Upper Midwestern
5% Midwestern
('06 results: 50% General American English, 15% Dixie, 5% Upper Midwestern, 5% Midwestern....I think ) |

Welcome to the Fun!! This is the very best Celtic gathering site I've ever seen, and continues to embrace us all as often as we visit it. It's always improving, too!
I'm Welsh, married to a Scot. Hope you enjoy this site as much as we all do! It's a bit like coming home and finding old friends welcoming you back. Slainte! |

Hi everyone!
Happy Saint Patrick's Day to you all!!
We're celebrating 2 things today: our youngest daughter's birthday (!!) and St. Patrick's Day. Have already enjoyed dinner at a GREAT pub (O'Neill's!), listening to live Celtic music (pub was packed with revelers!) and enjoying the fun energy all around!
Hope you're all enjoying this marvelous day, too! Slainte!! |

Working 2 jobs and getting DD#2 ready to go off to college (!). My garden calls to me, and is a great stress buster, so it's relaxing in our backyard for me this Summer! |

I do enjoy meat pies and fish and chips , but my favorite truly Scottish food is the Scones! MMmmmm!
King Arthur Flour has wonderful Scone mixes, in quite a few flavors, if you're interested |

I absolutely LOVE the Pumpkinhead (now called Pumpkinworks) Ale from the Salem Beer Works! I'll drink it all year long, but it's especially good at this time of year. Pumpkin flavored ale, with just a hint of spices coming through.....MMMmmmmm!!
I'm sure it's available at all Beer Works locations. Salem's just the nearest one for us. Here's the link: http://www.beerworks.net/home/index.html
Enjoy!!
P.S. Togo and Shadows, I'll have to just get some of the ales you've mentioned and do a taste test. I know, it's a tough job, but someone's gotta do it. I'm volunteering! |

It's a very cool feature, and wonderful to see everyone across the World who's part of this family!!
I agree with you Paul - growing up with an AM radio, waiting for our favorite songs to be played, and now having these incredible devices to help us all grow closer is amazing!
It has me shown in East Weymouth, MA, but hey - it's still MA. (I'm up on the North Shore, in Marblehead ) Close enough!
Thanks for this great view!! |

Hi everyone!
I'm here too, just not as vocal as I used to be. I will admit to spending more time than I should on Twitter and am working 2 jobs, but I still pop in from time to time to see what you're all up to. I'll never truly leave this wonderful family! |

Leelee, It's one of the Lord John series, set in 1760, which roughly falls in the middle of Voyager. Here's a link: http://www.dianagabaldon.com/blog/ please scroll about half-way down to "What To Read When" column for your answers.
Hope I've helped! Hubby and I LOVE this series!! He's finished "Echo..." and I'm almost finished with it, too. CAN'T WAIT for "Written In My Own Heart's Blood" to be finished and out!! |
