| I have an emerald ring I want to bless for protection, but I cannot use any ritual tools. I am in 'the broomcloset'. Is there a chant I can use instead? I only ask cus a more complex ritual would cause suspicion with my Catholic family. -blush- |

| I am a 12th generation scot, raised Druid and my family was and is, also Catholic for appearances only. What kind of a ritual are you looking for. Tools and items along with the spoken word is only for the carbon based life forms we are. The need to be heard. The higher powers do not need words. What do you mean "in the broom closet"? Perhaps I can help if I had a clearer idea of where you are coming from. |

| The don't know I am Pagan or leaning towards becoming Pagan. I cannot buy candles, books, etc .because it would only raise questions with my family that I'm not ready to answer. I've had to get by by meditation and praying at the alter of Virgin Mary at the church. I feel stuck in the middle |

| The word, Pagan, translates to "People of the old". What is it you seek? Magic, wisdom, protection........ There is something pulling you and you need to identify it first. Tell me, do you catch things out of the corner of your eye. Perhaps feel something brush against your hair, touch your shoulder. Look in a direction and turn away and back quickly because you thought you saw something? Do you lay something down or put it away and when you go back it is gone, sometimes to show up later? I need to know what you seek for yourself. As I said before you do not need tools and candles. |

| My body is broken, all I have is my mind and spirit and I want to strengthen them as I would any muscle. I wish to protect myself from the bitterness and hate that is in my father's heart so that I don't carry it with me. I wish to protect myself from physical harm that my body won't let me fight. I want to find peace. |

| I took the time to read your profile and found a young man of great depth and wisdom. You just will not give yourself credit or embrace it. If you do not believe in past lives perhaps you should do some research. You have the heart of a warrior and need to look at your self as a leader. Your deep thought and reasoning power is wonderful. I am sorry to say your father must fight his own demons. You see and have already realized his is not the path you want to follow, but the dark side is not one you want either. It does not matter how you dress, please yourself. But, do start a file and write your deepest thoughts. It is ok to wish evil on someone, it is but a release of emotions. Make sure the file is password protected so no one can get into it and read about your soul, it is no ones business. I do see you writing a book and would like to encourage you to do so.
