I found one of them! The war song I was trying to find is "The Band Played Waltzing Mathilda" by John McDermott.
Still trying to find the one about the fox hunt where the fox is more than a normal fox. I think it was the devil, but I can't recall any specific lyrics... |

Hi there! I listen to Celtic Radio on and off at work and there are two songs that I can never seem to catch the name of the artist or song title when I hear them.
One is sung by a woman, and it's about a fox hunt where the fox is no ordinary fox.
The other one is a long, sad song about a man that went off to war, I want to say from Australia, and is reminiscing.
Any help you could give would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! |
