Hi all,

My name is Lauren and I've just fallen in love with Celtic music. I can't seem to get enough. :-) I've begun to explore my own Irish heritage although I'm interested in all Celtic history and culture. As soon as I can pick up an Irish flute I'm starting lessons with the eventual goal of being able to join in with some local sessions. (I played C flute for a long time) Maybe next year I'll make it to my first Highland Games, Gathering, or Festival.

I don't know how often I'll post so I'll probably be a peasant for a long time. smile. But I wanted to introduce myself a little bit.

Blessings,
Lauren

Welcome Lauren! It's always amazing when you make that first discovery of Celtic Music. It's too bad in America they seem to try and hide this genre? Maybe because it does not generate huge profits or drama ridden stories. Nope, just some ordinary folks here enjoying the fine Celtic Music that the site has to offer played by some of the most talented and nicest musicians you will meet anywhere!
