I'm sitting here listening to my dog snore! She's my shadow! I have Psychology class this afternoon, and I should be folding some laundry. Seems there is always something I SHOULD be doing!

eeekkk, and that Chemistry that I drag my feet on! eek.gif

Good morning! Well, it's morning here. 5:20 am, precisely. --I wasn't supposed to wake up for another 15 minutes--but I just couldn't sleep anymore. sad.gif --At least my earliness has allowed me to post a quickie on here. biggrin.gif

I'm listening to "Africa" --Toto. I woke up with this song stuck in my head (for some reason), so I decided to listen to it. biggrin.gif I guess I'd better get my boring self out of your guys' hair and take a shower!

HAPPY ST. PATTY'S DAY, EVERYONE!!

I am too! Riobhca! How much have you bought yet? I bought one item so far....a silver Celtic cross with shamrocks entwined in the design with turquoise stone in the middle! Should go well with the mixture of my Celtic and Native American jewelry that I both wear! wink.gif I look forward to watching this show every year as well as The Rose of Tralee!

REALITY

FANTASY

- my boss tries to sneak up on me ONE MORE TIME, but this time I'm waiting for him with a shotgun, and ...

Does anyone else work for a company where there is a philosophy of "screw up - move up"? I've seen my company take people that either couldn't do their job, or did it so poorly, that in order to get them out of their job they PROMOTE them. That way they don't have to worry about performing poorly: they instead rely on their underlings to do their job for them.

Hi Shamalama! I am amazed at the amount of people who are on CR while at their work place. I worked for the University of Arizona..........a rather huge employer, but we were never allowed to peruse the internet or even make personal emails. They even had a way of checking our computers to make sure we were behaving ourselves! Now I am at home and my husband is my boss.....he doesn't care if I am on the computer during the day as long as I get off as soon as he walks in the door! angel_not.gif biggrin.gif

I am catching up on forums and listening to Highlander Radio!
