My fairest Lady Avalon and interested readers!

I acknowledge your kind reply of generous assistance with most lowly bows of the gentleman of Kilkerran. Neverthetoforeless, I was really trying to pick a fight - though not with myself, mind you, for I am too ill equipped for that... errr, that includes both concepts of having a one-man fight with myself as well as to have others do batttle with me. unsure.gif

The clans - especially the larger ones - do seem very relational and supportive, but alas, one misses the ancient cause of most glorious warfare - the pillaging or ravaging of another's daughter or wife - especially those of royal vintage!

Therefore, I thought perhaps stirring up the clans for greater celtic radio support might also serve as a basis of said most glorious warfare to occur. To which, I as a humble and most neutral land owner and businessman might find not only some passing sport, but hithertofore also some delightful profit. With the hopes, that in the end, some such tournament would reveal to me the best of the clans!

To the best of the clans, and to the success of free-market captalists throughout the Medieval Kingdom! beer_mug.gif

Not to divulge too much about my political bent, but it would seem to me that for the foreseeable future, free-market capitalists are going the way of the saber-tooth cat..... mad2.gif censored.gif mad2.gif jawdrop.gif goof.gif

When I am examining my glass and might be tempted to declare it to be half-full or half-empty, I've often been heard to say:

"WHO IN THE BLOODY HELL DRANK MY ALE????"

Ok wait, did I read you right on this?

Lets introduce rape as a game aspect of MK?

Call me a prude but even in a game forum rape is not an attractive topic.

And I know your probably just messing with themes and such, but I could see how this suggestion might be taken as offensive.

My lord Lochaber,

I must say that I wasn't sure either of what I read and thus didn't dare comment on it in case I had misinterprete the words but I can see that I'm not the only one who read it and interpreted it this way also.

As I too find it offensive to even suggest something like this in a game...you may read it in a story books or even in history books as it was unfortunately sad events that occured at the time.

Though some wants to play the game as close as possible to the reality of the time I think that there is some limit to certain "reality" to be introduce into a game.

Again, it all comes down to what I feel is so unfortunate these days in games that are becoming a "virtual" reality of our world with games that promotes real killings and real rapings and such...

I simply find it not only offensive but the most distastefull and disgusting suggestion.

Well, it has been a time since a post has been made here...

Permit me, lords and ladies, to state what is most obvious to the most casual observer in these, well these, not so vociferous times of Medievalness:

CLAN ARGYL is the weakest and most astoundingly boring clan in the whole game!

Let us analyze and reflect upon this profound truth. What the game truly needs is, once again, a boisterous, arrogant, barbaric clan which we can duly throttle! Come on, Clan Argyl, buck up!

Your comments are welcome. But don't you go telling any porkies!
Quite right.

My Lord of the muddied blood and toungue that wags with ingnorance, Clan Argyle does not wish to join the race to the top of MK. It is not the rabbit that will win the race.
Your time will come My Lord of untruthful lies to meet us on the battlefield and feel the cold steel of our swords!

The Scots of course insist that the pipes produce music. But the point is after all not too important. For those who love them, the pipes can evoke more vividly than any other instrument, high emotion, they can inspire valor, and tell of tragic tales of battles long ago. They can call forth merriment or sentiment. It does not matter what the sound is called, those who are deaf to its merits would not understand anyway.

Congrats Lord Piobmhorpiper on your promotion to clan leader. It seems everytime your clan takes on a new name you move up a spot. A toast to your good fortune sir! beer_mug.gif

Ah, that's a tad more like it then. Me thinks, there may be a little bit of built up frustration and insecurity in said Clan!

Yes, most newly wet-behind-the-ears king of Clan Argyle, we shall meet again on the field someday. But look about ye man! It is doubtful ye shall even get close enough to feel our cold steel. Our trebuchets and arrows will finish your troops off well before then!

The kilts of Kilkerran salute ye clan, from our backsides.

Ugh! Gasp! Eeks!...

I would launch my armies this very minute if I could but find a group of Argylites with butter knives. But alas, none can be found.
