Hi All

Just a quick HI. I might miss this evening chat. We have had thunder storms moving in and out all afternoon and supose to continue at least till midnight so not sure if I will make it or not as don't want to risk loosing the system to lighting strike. IN fact going to get off in a minute as more moving in shortly. So if I don't make it (cry)  just a quick HI!  :)

Well, I should have posted something about this, so whack me!  :O

I was at my brothers house for Easter dinner and we had such a good time that I didn't make it home until now.

Hope everyone had a good Easter!  (d)

Our chat room is a little sensitive and sometimes the third party public relay servers don't work for certain people at certain times depending where you are located.

This is unacceptable to us, so we plan on creating our own chat server for the software to interact with. This in no way changes the look or feel of the chat room, it really is the background chat services that our chat software uses.

This is on our list for April, so hopefully we will have a more reliable connection shortly! In the meantime, try changing the server from the main chat screen with the pull down menu. There are 4 servers spread across the world to choose from. Thanks for your patience!

It was just us girls in the chatroom last night!  :D

You guys missed a real "hen party" - we discussed our favorite topics and swore each other to secrecy!  ;)

We have decided that might make a really interesting new chat - a "Ladies Only" Chat time....  :O

Maggiemahonie, Shortbit and I have not laughed so hard in YEARS!!!!  :D  :D  :D  :D  :D  :D  :D  :D  :D

P.S. The only "male" in the room was Mr. CelticDJ who rudely interrupted our conversation every now and again with such comments as "Space Pipers are now playing" etc.

Hey Hey Hey I have to stand up for us men. How do you know the Celtic DJ's MALE? Might just as easily be female with the interuptions.  :O

And good thing I sht down after posting the start post in this thread as we had some strong storms move through would most likely have fried my system had some bolts of lighting just outside over the sound. Was even scary at points as our last home did get struck with lighting did some damage but not a lot, but since then always a little afraid it will happen again.  :O

Aww, Scottish2, you shouldnt take my comments too seriously! Of course, CelticDJ is only a computer program, and if you want to think of it as female a la Majel Barrett in 'Star Trek', go right ahead. I tend to think of puters and puter programs as males, a la "Hal" in 2001: A Space Odessy! My computer talks to me with a male voice whenever I am printing documents.   :p

So glad you were able to weather the storm last night.   :D

Yes, it was quite a "hen par--tie last night! I did get the giggles, and it was VERY enlightening. :O  We did take the oath of secrecy and even if someone should try to make us talk by taking our make-up away our lips are sealed. (cry)   Seriously it was alot of fun.  You guys missed out. :D

I laughed until I cried!  Oh yes... a very "enlighting" evening.  Hmmmm... How much will you guys pay for the print out of this session?  After all, I am saving for my trip to Scotland..which by the way is 59 days away.  No fear Girls, I am just kidding, I am sworn to secrecy.

The Chat Room is a wonderful opportunity to get to know each other.  We had fun last night and invite everyone to join in when they can.

You know, I almost think they are enjoying this! :D

I think for the next chat on 4/7 I will send a mass email out to everyone inviting them to the chat. Of course, the last time I did that my hosting provider decided to pretend that I was a spammer and removed my account!

Hey, what do you think of having topics for the chat? Maybe not every week, but perhaps the first Sunday in each month we could have a topic and also send out an invitation?

Any suggestions?

I see a chink in their Armour Paul. They'll sell out to the highest bidder.  :p

Maybe I was close with taking away their charge cards  :p

Hi Paul

Noted you posted during my posting. Maybe you could even set up a new night of the week for a topic chat. I think once folks see how fun the chat room can be they'll all want in on the fun. Also  a thought also with recent discussions but what about an alternate time for those on the other side of the world and also for those who can't make Sunday's chats?

Some people might be a little leary about getting in a chat room, I know I was.  Last night was only my 2nd time in any chatroom. So, if anyone hasn't visited the Sunday nights chats I can vouch that it was a lot of fun and you get to know your fellow celticans a little more.  ;)  ;)

Macfive, I think a topic to be discussed would be great, and Scottish2 probably a time change for the other side of the world would be welcomed.

No chink in the armour either.  Our lips are sealed.  :p  :)
Never!Never! Never! :p  :p  :p  Although we might have to watch Shortbit, since she is headed for Scotland and might just cave in for some extra SHOPPING money.
