So how many of you are involved with astrology? I one attempted to do my own chart, but it was way too complicated.

DO any of you believe in astrology, or in any other form of astrology (Vedic, chinese, etc)

Discuss!!

I can't resist asking this:

What's yer sign? tongue.gif

I am a Pisces. But I do not follow Astrology. I do not ever read my Horoscope.

I do feel that they may have some influence in our lives, it is just that I have no interest to dwell into the Subject.

My favorite sign is "Free Buffet". wink.gif

Oh, you meant astrological sign. I'm a Capricorn. Don't follow astrology, tho.

I'm a gemeni. I read my horoscope from time to time but with no particular interest, like the weather report... I consider astrology may have some influence on people's general personnality but I don't really care of predictions. wink.gif

Hmmm... deep dark secret here...

It's embarrasing for someone with scientific/engineering training to admit it bag.gif (it's REALLY put down in the technical community), but yes, I do astrology. I'm a Cancer with Aries rising; I get a way customized annual forecast from astrology.net, and while I don't consult it daily nor use it as a constant planning aid... far more often than not if things in my life are turning to pooh.gif there is surprisingly specific stuff about it in the horoscope...

I'm a Virgo...and I'm a horoscope adict, haha. I read it everyday and believe in it. I actually haven't looked into how it's all worked out and put into words, maybe someday.

I will admit to checking my horoscope every once in a great while, just out of curiousity, for fun. I tend to take it all with a big dose of salt, though. It's interesting, and sometimes can be fairly accurate, but for the most part...
I'm supposedly an Aqaurius (Aquarian?), my b-day falls well short of the cusp, but I definitely *don't* fit the descriptions always given for Aqaurius. Everyone who's ever known me swears I'm Pisces, through and through, and I agree. No question.
Ah well. rolleyes.gif

I'm an Aries, and I do all of it Birth Charts, Tarot cards, Rune Stones. I do readings for most of my friends and set up charts too.

I'm an Aquarian and am learning how to do Birth charts, I read the Tarot , Rune Stones,Alchemy Stones, Crystals, write up Celtic Zodiac Charts, Celtic Oracles (yes it is different from Tarot), American Indian Totem Charts and I read my horoscope BUT I wait til the end of the day and see how well it matched up to what really happened in my life. Some times they are right on & other times they are so far off base I can't believe it. Thank goodness I read them for fun!

My sign is that of the Crab, I do not give any position to horiscopes in my life.

Posted by: RavenWing 21-Jun-2004, 04:34 PM
I think it is a fasincating subject, but I think it is not wise to live your life by the position of the planets.

The skies can say much, but not in relation to one's future.

I always read mine on my birthday (April 23) to see what it says about the upcoming year. I'm sure the ones in the news paper make the people who follow the stars seriously laugh. They are usually by the same guy that does the obits. My life is too random I think to try and plot it out. But then again if I were to try to connect the dots, order may come about. king.gif

I find horoscopes interesting and fun to read especially when they seem to be right. I am a taurus and I def have all the qualities they posess. I wouldn't live by it but it is fun to imagine.

O'siyo,
gtrplr,
Now that is funny!!~~ lol.gif
My sign...Taurus~~ Do I read my horoscope? Sure but, mostly, not always, for entertainment and only at the end of the day..I wish to see how many aspects were 'correct' for that day, emotion, mood and with my interaction with others~~

There is much difference between the Celestial Zodiac and the more ancient Celtic ( tree based ) Zodiac! The traits of the Celtic zodiac are more fitting to my children then those of the stars.

I had forgetten all the research I had done on the celtic signs until Paul placed them with our birthdates.... After digging it all out I was again amazed at how accurate they are in describing the traits of the person by their tree sign.

Gosh! I used to really be into astrology big time. I am Aries with Cancer rising. I was so into it I could talk to people and tell what sign they were! No kidding! Scary! However, I am not into it anymore. I may read my horoscope once in a blue moon just for fun, but most of the time it is wrong. However, there have been a few times when it was right on! I certainly do not live my life by it anymore like I used to. rolleyes.gif

if anyone did my chart for me, I would probably be interested for a lil bit, I know that I am a taurus, and I think there is what I think is called an aries cusp, and in chinese I am a year of the horse, month of I think the monkey...or the horse again....either the month or the day is a monkey. I had a gf at one time who was really into all astrology, and she told me all this stuff that sounded like me but it was also so generic that it could fit 5 other people I knew.

I'm afraid I don't take much notice of astrology, even after paying a couple of times for personal birth charts. Waste of money. sad.gif
